At Bonaventure Brewing Co., we’ve worked with all kinds of groups: nonprofits, student organizations, small businesses, startups, and department teams. If you’re worried your budget isn’t enough, don’t stress. There’s usually a way to make it work. Here's how we approach it.

We Start With What Matters Most
Every group has different priorities. Some want great food. Others want space to mingle and connect. Some are just hoping for something simple to celebrate the end of a long year.
Instead of locking you into a one-size-fits-all package, we ask what’s most important to you. Then we help you build a custom plan that reflects your goals, your guest count, and what you can realistically spend.

Small Bites Can Still Feel Big
Even if a formal dinner isn’t in the cards, that doesn’t mean your guests won’t be full or satisfied. Some of our favorite budget-friendly formats include:

• A mix of passed appetizers and casual grazing stations
• Buffet-style setups with crowd-pleasers like tacos or pasta
• Warm platters of sliders, chicken tenders, or grilled cheese served lounge-style

With thoughtful presentation and timing, these menus create an inviting experience. No one will miss the seated meal.

The Bar Doesn’t Have to Be All or Nothing
You don’t need a full open bar to create a great atmosphere. A few strategic options go a long way:

As a working brewery, we also serve our own house-made craft beer, which gives even simple bar setups a unique, local feel.

One of the best ways to stay on budget is to use what’s already built in.
When you book with us, your rental already includes:

• Cocktail tables, lounge furniture, and basic black linens
• Fire pits, heat lamps, string lighting, and candles
• A speaker and mic if needed
• Holiday or seasonal linens when available

We’ll help you make the most of the space and give your event personality without needing to bring in extra rentals or decor.

When the Garden Isn’t in Reach, We Still Have Options
If your budget doesn’t allow for a full garden patio buyout, don’t worry. We also offer our patio breezeway and indoor bar area for more casual events. These spaces still include food, bar service, tables, and great service, just on a smaller scale.
If you’re flexible with your date, time, or layout, we can usually find a setup that works well within your range.

We’re flexible and creative, but we’re also realistic. Here’s what you can count on from us:

• We’ll tell you if your food budget doesn’t cover your guest count
• We don’t offer half or partial food orders
• If needed, we’ll recommend a shorter event, simpler menu, or smaller space
• We’ll always steer you toward options that make the most sense
• If something won’t work, we’ll be honest and help find a better plan
