Looking for a relaxed, semi-private space for your next event? The patio breezeway at Bonaventure Brewing Co. offers a flexible, cost-friendly solution for everything from small happy hours to large event extensions.
Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, the breezeway is a unique space that connects directly to both our indoor bar and private garden patio. Whether you're hosting a casual mixer, expanding your garden event, or looking for a more open layout for a full buyout, the breezeway is a versatile option that can be customized to fit your needs.
What Is the Patio Breezeway? The breezeway is a 1900 square foot outdoor patio space that sits between our private garden and indoor bar. It’s not fully covered, which means it feels bright and open, with natural light and airflow during the day and glowing bistro lighting in the evening.
This space includes:
  • Built-in string lighting
  • Table seating
  • Lush greenery and landscaping
  • Beautiful views of the Downtown LA skyline

How You Can Use the Breezeway
The patio breezeway is incredibly flexible and can be used in several ways:

As a Standalone Event Space
Great for smaller mixers, large dinners, birthday happy hours, or casual networking events. If you're looking for something low-key and simple, we can reserve the breezeway as-is and set it with buffet or appetizer tables to fit your event.

As an Add-On to Garden Events
For events booked in our private garden patio, the breezeway is commonly used as the entrance area, welcome space, or an extension for more mingling room. It can be set with cocktail tables, lounge furniture, or check-in stations depending on your needs.

As an Add-On to Indoor Events
The breezeway opens directly to our indoor bar through large French doors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor layout. Many of our clients hosting indoor receptions or casual gatherings choose to add the breezeway for extra space, fresh air, and a more dynamic flow for guests. This is a great option when the garden isn’t needed but you still want that open-air feel.

As Part of a Full Buyout
When you book a full buyout of our venue, the breezeway helps connect every element. It creates a natural event path between our garden, bar, and indoor dining space, allowing multiple setups like food stations, lounges, DJ booths, and photo booths to flow easily throughout the venue.

What Fits in the Breezeway?
The space is extremely versatile. Over the years, we’ve hosted:
  • Casino tables
  • Beer pong and jumbo games
  • Photo booths
  • Vendor tables or sampling stations
