Working With Outside Vendors at Bonaventure Brewing Co.

Planning an event at Bonaventure Brewing Co. and working with your own DJ, photo booth, florist, or rental company? We’re happy to work with outside vendors and want everyone to have a smooth, easy experience.
Here’s a quick guide to help you and your vendors know what to expect on event day.

Arrival and Setup
Vendors can arrive up to 2 hours before your event starts. If they need more time, just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
They should bring everything they need, including carts, extension cords, tape, and any setup tools. We do not provide these items.
After the event, vendors have up to 1 hour to break down and load out. If they need more time, we may ask that they move their items outside the event space so we can lock and secure the venue.
Please note that we do not offer any pre- or post-event storage. Anything left behind may be discarded and a removal fee may be charged.

Loading and Parking
Vendors can load in through the loading dock entrance on Flower Street, just past the valet entrance at the Westin Bonaventure. If the gate is closed, they can use the speaker box or call hotel security at (213) 612-4775. They should mention they are working an event at Bonaventure Brewing Co.
After unloading, all vehicles must be moved right away. Parking is not allowed in the loading dock. Vendors can use the service elevator (elevator number 20) to reach the 4th floor.
Valet parking is available at the hotel and can be validated for up to 4 hours. There are also several nearby self-parking garages within one block.
If you send us your vendor list ahead of time, we are happy to provide vendor instructions and a parking map.

Power and Equipment
Each vendor will have access to one standard outlet. They should bring their own extension cords and black electrical tape to secure any loose cables. If they need extra power or special arrangements, just let us know in advance.

Insurance for Special Equipment
Vendors bringing items like fog machines, lighting, or cooking equipment may be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance listing Bonaventure Brewing Co. as an additional insured. We will let you know if this applies to your team.

DJ and Entertainment Guidelines
We love music and dancing, but there are a few rules in place to keep things enjoyable for everyone in the building.
  • Music must end by 10 PM
  • Volume must stay at a respectful level. Our team may ask for adjustments if needed
  • Clean or radio edits are preferred
  • DJs must bring their own gear, including cords, power strips, and backups
  • Special effects like fog machines must be pre-approved and insured
Our team will be onsite to assist with any day-of needs, but DJs are responsible for their own setup and breakdown.

Décor, Florals, Rentals, and Activations
Vendors setting up décor, floral arrangements, photo booths, or branded activations should follow a few simple guidelines.
  • No nails, screws, or adhesive on any venue surfaces
  • Décor must be freestanding and safe for indoor or outdoor use
  • Candles must be enclosed. No open flames
  • All items must be removed the same day unless we have approved another plan
  • Areas must be cleaned before vendors leave
Photo booths and interactive displays should be set up securely and with safety in mind.
